I THOUGHT “I’M IN CHARGE” WAS LEADERSHIP… UNTIL LIFE CORRECTED ME.
When I was younger, I thought being in charge was a badge of honor, especially with my little brothers. I was super bossy. I’d have them grab me a snack, play the games I wanted, and do my chores like their job was to serve me.
Then life hit hard.
When I was 12, we lost our dad. It was sudden. It was traumatic. And it changed my life forever forcing me to see life in a different way.
There's one particular lesson I took to heart:
There’s a difference between being in charge and leading the people in your charge.
One gets obedience. The other earns trust.
One gets short-term output. The other builds real influence.
That lesson shapes how I show up everywhere.

It’s also not only questions coaching. It’s a blend of coaching + strategy: we’ll pull the real stuff to the surface, then build a clear plan you can actually execute.
